The Optimist of Tall Timbers 2^nd District is dedicated to "Bringing Out the Best in Kids" through its local community service and outreach programs. Each Optimist group is independent and our 2^nd District Optimists in St. Mary's County have several programs we have to help children in our area. From our Spring Dance to our Shop with a Cop program, to our Mentoring programs and Scholarships we strive to help kids reach their full potential.

We were just awarded 2011 VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR by the Commission of People with Disabilities!
